Infrastructure Protection

Critical infrastructure includes the country’s vast network of highways, connecting bridges and tunnels, railways, utilities, and buildings necessary in daily life. The Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate works closely with infrastructure owners, operators, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to identify potential infrastructure vulnerabilities.
