Office of Homeland Security Statistics Resources
In 2024, the Office of Homeland Security Statistics will begin reporting on disaster deployments. Later this year, we will release a report on deployments of FEMA, FEMA Corps, and Department of Homeland Security Surge Capacity Force personnel for Stafford Act disasters. The report will include data such as:
- Disaster type
- Region
- Total number of deployments
- Average deployment length
- Peak deployment amount
- Cadre

Federal Emergency Management Agency
- OpenFEMA Data Sets — FEMA provides many data sets to the public through OpenFEMA. Data is available on disaster information; emergency management, preparedness, and alerts; individual assistance; public assistance; hazard mitigation assistance; and the National Flood Insurance Program.
- Hazus — FEMA provides models to estimate risks from earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, and hurricanes through its free Hazus software.
- Fire Statistics — FEMA publishes data sets and statistics about fires, fire risk, firefighters, and fire departments in the United States.
